Preparation Time
Prep is the first and most variable phase. Grinding the concrete, removing existing coatings, repairing cracks, and addressing moisture all take time that depends on the slab's condition. A clean, bare floor prep is faster than one needing extensive repair. We give you an accurate prep estimate before starting.
Application Time
A multi-layer system — base coat, flake broadcast, clear topcoat — takes time to apply because each layer needs to set before the next goes on. Metallic epoxy takes longer because the pigments are worked to create the movement. The system you choose is a big part of the timeline.
Cure Time Before Use
Coatings need to cure before they take traffic. Even when the floor looks dry, it may not be ready for vehicle weight or heavy use. We give you a clear return-to-service timeline so the floor cures fully before it goes back to work — and we won't rush it.
Why Not One Day
We don't position our service around rushed 1-day installs. Proper preparation and full curing take the time they take, and skipping either to hit a one-day promise is the most common cause of premature failure. The timeline is built for durability, not speed.
